Bob Stark, agricultural economics professor emeritus with the University of Arkansas’ School of Agriculture and Southeast Research & Extension Center, Monticello, and Jeremy Ross, professor and Extension soybean agronomist, Little Rock, review the trading week in Arkansas ending Oct. 22, 2021.
They analyze the 2021 Arkansas soybean crop cash market and crop December booking reports.
The Arkansas 2021 crop soybean cash market moved slightly higher over the past weekend and added two straight days of gains to reach a weekly high on Wednesday. But the market reversed course and declined sharply over the last two trading days to finish lower overall for the week.
All prices were compiled from the Arkansas Daily Grain Report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service.
