Bob Stark, agricultural economics professor emeritus with the University of Arkansas’ School of Agriculture and Southeast Research & Extension Center, Monticello, and Jeremy Ross, professor and Extension soybean agronomist, Little Rock, review the trading week in Arkansas ending July 9, 2021.

The 2020 crop soybean market suffered a major loss over the past weekend that was extended by the July 4th observance on Monday.  Price reversed direction after the weekend loss and trended higher over the remainder of the week although not fully regaining the weekend loss.

All prices were compiled from the Arkansas Daily Grain Report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service.
