Bob Stark, agricultural economics professor with the University of Arkansas’ School of Agriculture and Southeast Research & Extension Center, Monticello, and Jeremy Ross, professor and Extension soybean agronomist, Little Rock, review the trading week in Arkansas ending March 12, 2021.
Both markets opened the week with weekend gains but suffered midweek losses that could not be overcome. Old crop soybean finished down 9 cents and new crop booking down 5 cents compared to last week’s closing prices.
The report includes a 2020 Crop Cash Market Report and a 2021 Crop Booking Market Report.
All prices were compiled from the Arkansas Daily Grain Report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service.
