Bob Stark, agricultural economics professor emeritus with the University of Arkansas’ School of Agriculture and Southeast Research & Extension Center, Monticello, and Jeremy Ross, professor and Extension soybean agronomist, Little Rock, review the trading week in Arkansas ending Aug. 6, 2021.

The Arkansas Soybean 2021 Crop Booking Market posted a modest gain over the weekend before plunging lower on Tuesday. The market then reversed course and had gains each remaining trading day of the week but could not fully regain its Tuesday losses.

All prices were compiled from the Arkansas Daily Grain Report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service.
