Cary, N.C.-based Arysta LifeSciences has introduced Rancona V 100 Pro seed treatment for soybeans.
It contains the active ingredients ipconazole for control of Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, smuts, bunts and seed rots, as well as carboxin, which stimulates early seedling vigor and growth.
Ipconazole is a DMI fungicide belonging to the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee’s Group G1 whereas carboxin is a SDHI belonging to the FRAC Group C2.
The treatment is a custom-blend formulation with little seed treater adhesion and residues, making for an easy cleanout with low dust rate, according to a news release.
