Bob Stark, agricultural economics professor with the University of Arkansas’ School of Agriculture and Southeast Research & Extension Center, Monticello, and Jeremy Ross, assistant professor and Extension soybean agronomist, Little Rock, review the 2018 crop cash market from Jan. 1-Sept. 30, 2019.

USDA-AMS did not issue an Arkansas Daily Grains Report on either Thursday or Friday, Oct. 10 or 11, and does not plan to publish one Oct. Oct 14 in observance of Columbus Day holiday.

This summary report includes a graph that shows how Arkansas 2018 crop soybean prices moved from Jan. 1 through Sept. 30, 2019. One interesting observation is the statewide daily average on Sept. 30 was just 1 cent above the first daily average price of the year on Jan. 3, 2019.
