BASF plans to launch triple-stacked E3 soybeans in 2021

xitavo logoBASF plans to launch Xitavo brand soybeans with the triple-stacked Enlist E3 technology in U.S. markets for the 2021 season.

The varieties have been genetically modified to have tolerance to over-the-top applications of glufosinate, 2,4-D choline and glyphosate, according to a news release. The three different modes of action will help soybean growers fight their most troublesome weeds.

For the 2021 season, 19 varieties covering maturity groups 0.1-4.6 will be available.

Xitavo brand is owned by MS Technologies, and BASF exclusively distributes it.

The transgenic event in Enlist E3 soybeans was jointly developed and owned by Dow AgroSciences LLC and MS Technologies LLC.
